SBP Aims to Strengthen Organizational Leadership

Friday, 29 August 2025

The Superintendency of Banks of Panama (SBP), in partnership with Great Place to Work®, held the workshop “The Strategic Role of the Leader in Business and Culture” as part of its institutional and cultural strengthening strategy.

The session featured a keynote presentation by Paulo César Preciado, Executive Advisor Partner at Great Place to Work® for the Caribbean, Central America, and Mexico, who shared key insights on building an organizational culture rooted in trust and collaboration.

The workshop’s main objective was to provide SBP leaders with methodological tools to prioritize immediate actions that address the organization’s current challenges, while fostering a high-trust culture at both the individual and group levels, based on Great Place to Work®’s Giftwork® model.

Throughout the day, participants engaged in discussions on essential topics such as:

· The nine practice areas for building great workplaces.
· How top leaders drive their strategies through leadership.
· Authentic collaboration and the active role of each leader.
· Prioritizing key areas and designing impactful actions that exceed expectations.

With initiatives like this, SBP reaffirms its commitment to developing human talent, strengthening internal leadership, and fostering a sustainable organizational culture.
