BBVA Colombia S.A. Joins Panama’s International Banking Center

The Superintendency of Banks of Panama (SBP) announces that, after verifying compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, it has issued Resolution SBP-BAN-R-2025-00416, dated July 11, 2025, granting an International Banking License to BANCO BILBAO VIZCAYA ARGENTARIA COLOMBIA S.A. (BBVA Colombia S.A.)

With this authorization, BBVA Colombia S.A. officially joins the International Banking Center of Panama, from which it may operate via an office established in the country. The license permits the institution to conduct transactions that are perfected, executed, or have effects abroad, as well as other activities previously authorized by this Superintendency.

BBVA Colombia S.A. is part of a global financial group whose holding company is BBVA S.A. (Spain), a group with a long and solid path of over 165 years in financial services and presence in 25 countries.
