Under the theme “Everything Is Possible,” the Superintendency of Banks of Panama (SBP), in collaboration with Grupo H. Tzanetatos, welcomed 19 young participants between the ages of 15 and 17 who are part of the Novatos + Expertos program.
During the visit, participants learned about the role of the SBP in safeguarding Panama’s financial system and received valuable guidance on financial education and career planning.
“I was once where you are today; I was your age too. If you allow me one piece of advice, start thinking now about your professional future and make sure your aspirations align with the demands of today´s labor market,” said the Superintendent of Banks of Panama, Milton Ayón Wong, during his address to the students.
“Everything is possible; what matters most is to continue learning and preparing yourselves. The world is constantly evolving, and you must evolve with it,” he added.
Novatos + Expertos is a summer program designed for high school students. It is an innovative, dynamic, and fully experiential initiative that combines youthful curiosity (novatos) and the knowledge and experience of industry professionals (expertos).
The SBP considers it a privilege to support initiatives of this kind, which aim to empower young people and equip them with the tools needed to build their professional futures.
